Planning a trip can be fun. But it can be overwhelming too. You might find yourself falling down an internet rabbit hole, wading through an inordinate number of travel websites, all of which leave you none the wiser. Let us pull you back to the land of the living.
As local travel experts living in South America, we do all our research first-hand. Which means our recommendations are personal. We’ve been to the hotels, eaten at the restaurants and have handpicked the guides that will join you on your journey. We want to cast a light on the true value of travel and celebrate the authenticity that makes these people and places what they are: unique.
JSB Journeys is a collaborative network of the best guides in the business and the finest travel designers, who team up to create one-off, experiential journeys. We’ll work with you to design a better, more enriching travel experience — one that goes beyond list-ticking, surface-level sightseeing.
We put plenty of thought and time into each and every trip we create. They are made-to-measure rather than off-the-rack. Because of this, we do charge a small per-person planning fee. But we promise you, just like a well-tailored suit, it’s worth the extra cost.
To craft the trip of your dreams, we want to get to know you and what sparks your passion. We only need 30-45 minutes for this stage. There’s no fee or obligation for this.
Next, you’ll receive a draft itinerary, complete with travel dates, hotels and experiences. Together, you and our experts will tailor the itinerary to outline the perfect trip. We’ll make adjustments and suggest activities and hotels as we refine the details.
If you’re happy with your draft itinerary, we can move forward with a proposal. We work diligently to get every detail right, so it may take up to 4 or 5 days. The proposal will detail your planned experiences and final pricing.
Now it’s time to start counting the days! You will receive your travel dossier full of exciting information one month before your departure.

“We are finally settled back in - it was difficult getting back into the swing of things after vacation. :) Overall we were very pleased with the vacation. The guides were overall top notch! The ATM cave was definitely a highlight. The roads were a surprise but we got used to them. It was a great mix between the jungle and the beach! :) The food itself was pretty damn amazing! Really - it was an amazing trip and we are soooooo glad we did it with you. Our mind was blown many, many times!!”

“We had a great time Everything went very smoothly. The highlight for both of us was seeing Machu Picchu. We especially liked our guide Juan Carlos and driver in Machu Picchu. They took very good care of us. Would also highly recommend the Sol y Luna hotel in the Sacred Valley. Beautiful grounds in a very serene setting. We also really enjoyed the cooking class in Lima. Everything went well. Thanks for planning an amazing trip for us! “”

“Hi Jean! I just got settled back into my office and you are the first person I decided to write. The trip was amazing. Everything was impeccable, a unique experience. It’s hard to find anything we would have changed or done better. The hotels you chose for us were impeccable and the ground staff were amazing. Juan Carlos was the best guide we’ve ever had! The 3 night Belmond train was absolutely amazing. To you, we dedicate and entirely separate paragraph. The surprise picnic you setup for us on that lake with those views and the amazing food was mind blowing. We were in awe at the amount of detail and heart put into it. Planinng this trip with you was an absolute pleasure and you have left us with a lifetime of memories. THANK YOU!”
